If You Had A Twin, But Didn't Realise...
Family Life5 mins ago
My wife has been taking Celebrex and Salaprozine (sp?) for Rheumatoid Arthritis for the last eight months, and had her 3-monthly blood tests taken on Monday.
The nurse called her yesterday and asked that she come back and repeat the tests as the results had shown 'abnormalities'. She was not given any other information, but this has worried her.
Can anyone shed any light on what might be the problem?
Any personal experiences will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

It took almost 2 years of trying different combinations of pills before everything settled down! I now take Sulfasalazine and Naproxen which suit me very well and only require 3 monthly blood tests now. Not the same problems as your wife, but maybe it will just be a case of trying different combinations of medication before she finds one that suits! Not very helpful I know but what I really wanted to say was, that I was pretty devasted when I was first diagnosed with what I thought was going to be a very debilitating disease, but I feel great! I work full time and swim regularly and try to watch my weight, while there are some days I feel very tired and quite achy, generally I am fine and don't lose any time of work! All a question of balance I suppose!
Hope Mrs luckystrike is well and good luck x
