Can anyone tell me the consistency of the human brain? I say that it is firm enough to slice, my husband says it is mushy. I won't tell you the final scene in Hannibal but I say that it would be impossible!

You're both right. It has the consistency of jelly, so you could slice it as you could a jelly, but it's also mushy.
