as for your other question why is love blind
because when your in love if your partner did something wrong or said something wrong then you would just let it go because you love them so much that is y they say its blind cos you cant see whats going on. sometimes this is a good thing sometimes this is a bad thing.
I agree with stylinsam here, its something that different people feels differently towards...
for me, love feels like contentment, excitedness, happiness and also sometimes, unhappiness...
This is because, although you may feel completely happy with someone, they will never the EVERYTHING you want them to be. This is where I think my feelings of love come into it...that I could be going through anything in life and although he may not always say exactly what I want, he's the one person who gets the closest!
It's so nice to hear that you still feel butterflys 24hrs a day, keep those butterflys alive!
Love feels like.....A cold breeze on a hot day. It surrounds you with a feeling of protection and security. It's having a rainbow as an umbrella.- No matter what happens you have someone watching over you and caring for you.
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 6 years now, so the love I feel for him at this stage is different then the love I felt for him when I met him (at 19 years old).
This weekend my boyfriend got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. He fainted and fell into the tub . I heard the sounds and thought someone had broken in. I called for him and he didnt answer. I found him in the tub with the shower curtain and rod ontop of him. He was still unconsious, but finally responded. He had to get 23 stiches in his back. He cut it on the porclin soap dish.
The fear of loosing him when I first saw him in the tub was overwhelming. I knew I would do anything to keep him safe. He is my world (in a healthy way).
He's become my teammate on this journey and my best friend.
But the first several months way back when....I just thought he was sooo HOT, and soo charming!! He was like a drug that got better, and better, and better. I was blinded by my love for him because I was so emphatuated that I didn't see his flaws. I didn't notice his habits, or his attitudes. But now I see him inside and out. Honestly though, I think one of the tricks to making it through the long haul with someone is, not having any expectations. just take it all one day at a time.
Love is amazing...everykind of love is breathtaking.
I always feel really nervous and a lot more sensitive to how close people are to me, even if the person I "love" is over the other side of the room. Like you, I also get butterflies, and I can never stop thinking about them for ages!
Also anything that reminds me of them, whether it's a food, drink or song, I have to have with me as often as possible.
Thats just a few of my feelings. hehehe
