please give me some hope for my fat stomach!!!
10 Answers
i am getting really down about my body. i am slightly underweight, nothing major but it wouldn't hurt for me to gain a few pounds. however, my stomach is really fat. i can't even find jeans to fit me because i'm so out of proportion. after looking on the net today it seems there's not a lot i can really do about it as the only way to lose weight from my stomach is to lose weight everywhere, which i can't afford to do. i have recently starting doin a 10 minute pilates workout targeting my stomach but now i've also read that this won't work and even if it does, my fat will cover the muscles. is there anything i can do other than liposuction?? please give me some hope!!!

I was the same, really big stomach, almost malunurished looking and skinny everywhere else as I wasn't absorbing food properly. I was n't really ill as such just tired, down, sleepy, unmotivated and often aneamic.
Now I can't begin to tell you how much energy I have, frankly there isn't enough hours in the day to do all the things I want to as I am just hungry for life.
You should try it. You never know.

hairspray - next time you walk into a room, or anywhere where female bodies can be appraised without being covered by layers of figure-disguising clothes, look at the stomachs of other women. I bet you will find that 80% of them are very much like yours. A slightly rounded natural stomach is what nature intended it to be. Only skinny half-starved models look like beansticks and they are probably jeopardising their health to no purpose to look like that. The fashion media has a lot to answer for making people think their stomachs should naturally be as flat as a pancake so don't fall for the hype. Doing sit-ups on a regular basis may help tone your stomach muscles but may not necessarily change the shape of your stomach. Don't fret about it. Probably the only person who is really conscious about the shape of your tummy is YOU. !
