My ex boyfriend - confused
I told you recently about my long term relationship that ended. I am still living with my ex until the lease runs out on our house in two months. We have been getting on better since we decided to split.
He has been going out every w.end and when he comes home, he comes into my room and sits on my bed next to me and either gets upset and says things like 'find yourself a nice boyfriend' or just holds my hand then goes to his room.
On Saturday, I didn't come home and when I saw my ex on Sunday he was very off with me. I asked if he had a good night on Saturday but he said no and said he didnt want to talk about it.
He is ok with me now but I dont know what to do. Do you think it is just a case of he doesnt want me but also doesnt want anyone else to have me?
Why would he bothered that I might have someone else if he doesnt want me anymore?

Asking eachother how your night was is too confusing, becuase you really don't WANT to know. You both ask eachother to see what the other one is going to say. It's like playing games.
Be civil of course, but don't force yourself to flip the switch to "Best Friend Land". It's just not possible, no matter how much you care for oneanother. And obviously, he's having a hard time with it. He wants to know what your doing, if your having fun or not, if you enjoy being single now, if your interested in anyone.......but he doesn't want to hear it at the same time.
I think he's confused, and I definetly think he doesnt want you to be with anyone because it eats him up inside.
I didn't, and wouldn't, bring anyone back to the house even for just a cup of tea, and he wouldn't either.
But I accept that he will, or even has, seen other women. So why do I have to keep it a secret if I meet someone? I would rather hear it from him if he meets someone else so why does he refuse to acknowledge that I am going to find someone else?
