Aloe Vera gel is excellent. Also,a cool bath with bicarbonate of soda in - my mother swears by it and after trying it myself I have to agree.
I also heard Greek Yoghurt was pretty good.....
Chop a tomato in half and rub the cut sides over the sunburn.
tell me about it, I am so sore but worst is I burnt my feet so walking is very painful. I used sun cream factor 12 but it was washed off when I went paddling in the sea :-(
The pre-mentioned aloe vera and greek yoghurt are supposed to work, also the good old standby 'calamine lotion' witch hazel I think and funnily enough, according to the Vinegar website, gently rubbing it with vinegar also works, although it doesn't specify which vinegar
i always put e45 on when i've burnt myself, seems to cool & help heal.
Ah apparently sudocream helps. :-)

4getmenot i heard about your feet. You should make sure you get a waterproof sunscreen and keep applying it.

and yes ric sudocrem works very well, it also works on heat rash too.

and keep your aftersun or whatever you use in the fridge-it's lovely and cold when it goes on then too!

If you lightly beat an egg white then 'paint' it on the affected area - it will create a protective seal and the enzymes will help to repair the skin.

Works well on nappy rash too - if that's any use!

garnier make a great aftersun lotion it comes in a blue tub and has sparkly bits in, very cooling, or anyhting with aloe vera in, hope this helps
