Crying causes us to become tired because we are losing chemicals and energy when we cry. A headache is a commonj symptom of being tired.There is nothing wrong with you.

When you cry do you get a stuffy nose? The sinuses pressure can cause a headache. Any form of tension can result in a headache. Also if you are talking about proper hysterical (sorry for this word but something to give you an idea) crying then it is possible you might be hyperventilating although not to a full extent otherwise you�d know about it. There are many reason but tension and stress are the most obvious ones.

Thank You Pippa. If you live in the London area be aware.I am going to Kings Cross Hospital in London to diagnose and treat patients in A&E tommorow and will be there all week.But don't worry I will be under the watchful eye of two fully trained doctors.Should be fun though.

Crying causes your sinuses to fill up and the pressure gives you a headache.

Even before the tears fall the sinuses are 'triggered' by the emotions.

I am going to Kings Cross London.I passed my anatomy test 2 weeks ago so am allowed to go.I will ONLY be in the A&E department but as I have said there is no need to worry I am accompanied by my tutors who are qualified and experienced doctors.
