Ok, I'm 27 years old and I should know this but I've been out of the single life loop for a while and have today been inspired to get back in to it by certain AB threads ;0)

so....

How do you actually tell if a bloke fancies you? Especially if they're shy!

You say that Pink... but there is something of a running joke at the moment about the fact that I never say yes.... Have tried pointing out that I'm usually being asked out by a drunk, a **** or a drunken **** and funnily enough, they just don't do it for me!

OK, you�re getting all this male attention so you�re probably a honey and the shy bloke you fancy won�t come forward - talk to him - does nobody talk anymore?! Ask him if he�s seen a film, any film that you want to see - if he says he�s seen it ask him about it, if he hasn�t seen it ask him if he wants to see it.
Or a restaurant, � have you been to �. was it any good� etc etc. Just leaders into a conversation so you can gauge a reaction ��.or just drag him over the bar and sh*g him!!

We do talk a lot Jon, we're friends! Sometimes I think he's looking, sometimes I don't. He does seem to pay me a bit of extra attention, he's always lending me stuff, he does tell me stuff, he has admitted that he hated me when we first me and I've told him that I thought he was a g*t too, he has admitted that he now thinks I'm lovely and has even on occasion paid me a complement, we've even started hugging occasionally recently. He has also sent me a vaguely suggestive text in the past when he was drunk.... but I just think that's the kind of stuff close male and female friends can get up to anyway and I'm not sure if there's any more to it than that. I'm just a very confused person ;0)

The situations a bit difficult too.

Not a great idea at the moment hun, like I said, the situation is slightly complicated.

Also, I don't want to. I'm old fashioned, I like the bloke to do the asking, I like my wine glass to be refilled when it's empty or running low, I like doors held open for me and I like it when people carry my bags.... ahem, in short, I do nothing for the feminist movement ;0)

Six of one and half a dozen of the other. I think him and his girlfriend may have split up but haven't got the guts to ask and don't really think it's my place to, he should tell me himself!

I don't know.... anyway, best not to talk about him I think, you never know who's out there reading this ;0) I just need some basic tips on how to spot if someones interested... especially so I stop saying 'hell no' before my brain has thought of a slightly less rude way of expressing both shock and a negative answer!

China, leave him alone �til he�s told you he�s done with his GF - and as I said before, a look and a smile with good eye contact shows you he�s interested.

Well yeah course, I suppose... anyone can go out to a club or something and pull random strangers but it's just not really my thing to be honest hun, I don't get much out of it.

Also, I do get kind of shy when approached and nine times out of ten I'm completely oblivious anyway.... I'd say I was a challenge but to be honest I think I'm just challenged in the romantic department ;0)
