60 Answers
Hey people,
I'm really hungover... I always regret drinking when i have work the next day... why do we do it eh?
Ive already thrown up in the work toilet this morning, but luckily its only me and two others in today... i cant even drink water without wanting to bring it back up :0(
Anyone else got or remember a particular time they were hungover at work?
Anyone got any good cures or advice (other than dont drink before u have work)?

Have a look at this, it might help!!
I found drinking loads of water and a nice greasy bacon sandwich do the trick.....but if you really can't face it then maybe a banana & a yogurt will settle your stomach!

Many moons ago when I was a lot younger I went into work with the hangover from hell. Some kind colleague gave me one of those Resolve sachet things that you mix with water and said that it would sort me out. Yeah right!!!. Made up the dirnk and necked it. As soon as it hit the back of my throat my whole insides went into revolt and I didn't have time to make it to the toiltes so threw up out the window instead;o(
So in answer to your question about good cures, I personally wouldnt recommend this one.

lol warpig... that did make me laugh.
my mum told me a story about when she got p*****d at a work lunch once. She had just started so they all went out for drinks and she unintentionaly got hammered! She ended up climbing on to the roof of the building and eventually came through the window of the bosses office.
Strangely enough she handed in her notice the next day.

I remember one of my friends from work going out every Saturday night and was always ill on the Sunady at work, she would be miserable all morning but then take an early lunch - she would set the alarm on her mobile and sleep on the floor in the disabled toilet for an hour!!!.....apparently the coldness of the tile floor helped!!
It usually worked and she was fine by the afternoon!

I used to work in a nursing home and quite often would get completely trashed the night before work (I blame it on being young and naive). After throwing up because of the smells when I got to work (stale pee and soiled sheets) I used to tell the kitchen staff that "Florence" was really thirsty and needed loads of orange juice. I would then retreat to the laundry room, down pints of OJ and sleep in 10 minute slots when I could. By the time I'd finished my shift I was ready to go out again!
When I have the hangover that you can;t stomach food, or the thought of it, I get cartons of Ribena and drink them. Mostly I just crave anything sweet.

We obviously both had parents with good taste lol!
Maybe you should try orange squash, not drinking enough fluid in this weather will only make you feel even worse.
I think a Frappucino is a good idea, if it stays down then you know you can try something else. During the winter if I have a hangover i get a Mocha cos it's exactly what a hangover needs: caffeine and chocolate!

I used to work in a garage on Saturday mornings, when I was 16 and I used to go in with a hangover (y'know, cider and the like, lol!).
My job was to fill the fridges (the walk in ones, that you fill from the back), so I used to sit in the back of the fridge (lovely and cool) with a Mars drink and a big cardboard box of pic 'n' mix on my lap and try and sleep.
I don't know if anyone ever saw me snoozing behind the Coke cans- :o)
(I only used to do 4 hours, too!) x
