Does anyone have a phobia that isn't of the run-of-the-mill variety (spiders, heights etc), something really unusual? I remember a woman who had a phobia about coal.
i really don't like bananas. the smell, the feel, my skins crawling just thinking about it!! my son loves them, my stomach turns the whole time i have to touch it, i get bits of skin under my nails and want to be sick!! i have to scrub my hands after touching one!!
my mum was scared of cotton wool si, we had real fun winding her up with it when we were kids
im terrified of stitches, even thinking about them makes me feel sick. I dont know if it is an unusual phobia but apparently theres no name for it, if anyone can tell me what it is please do :D
Clowns for me too,Ronald McDonald really gives me the creeps,if he comes on an advert on the tv,I come over all funny & have to leave the room!!Plus fly-posters for the circus, that place is my idea of Hell.
Glad others suffer it too!!
Cockroaches and runny boiled eggs! And like ~Wingnut~ I have a friend who has a fear of buttons because when he was little his older sister used to threaten him by holding his hand down in their mum's button box!
One of my friends is terrified of crumpets! It's the little holes that he doesn't like, and says that it's the same when he sees hot tarmac that has lots of little tiny holes in it. Needless to say, I've posted a few to him in Jiffy Bags over the years.
