Does anyone have a phobia that isn't of the run-of-the-mill variety (spiders, heights etc), something really unusual? I remember a woman who had a phobia about coal.
clowns china dolls and puppets anything with creepy eyes. I have another fear of waves coz i used to have a re-eccuring dream of tidle waves and guess what my husband is a sailor.!!! I cant bear to watch that guiness advert with the horses in the sea, that freaks me out.
I have to admit I'm scared of fire alarms, the ones that sound like screaming (like the music in Psycho when he jumps out on the landing and stabs the detective). Ringing fire alarms don't bother me.
my phobias are, god i cant stand the sounds or feel of them polostiring (cant spell it) balls you get in boxs, god im shivering now, also i cant stand to look at jelly sounds mad i know
Not sure if it's a fear but I really detest the feel of cardboard boxes or blackboards.... makes my skin crawl and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Grimacing as I write this actually!
Dolls particularly with china or wax faces - I didn't have any dolls as a child in the end my Mum used to vet my presents to ensure I wasn't completely traumatised by finding a doll in a box!
I think your answers are really funny, and crumpets is my favourite, but it will take forever to post ratings. Thanks! I don't feel quite so barmy now in comparison...
I am afraid of newspapers and tissues, they mere thought of them or site of them makes me feel ill, i cant even dry my hands on paper towels as i dont like the feel or smell of them and if anyone has touched a tissue with their hands i cant touch their hands, i associate tissue with dirty things i think, i cant use paper napkins in restaurants i have to use cloth ones always. My sister has a fear of buttons.
