This is addressed mainly to people who have worked in places where they have come across a lot of customers' surnames: what's the funniest surname you can remember? i remember a Mr Lavatory and also a Mrs Younghusband, when I was working in a call centre.

My nans surname was Gotobed! My friends nans was Pricket. When we were about 11 it seemed really funny to suggest they opened a company together called Gotobed and Pricket! God how childish we were (not now of course Ha Ha)

There was a girl in my school called Teresa Green, ( Trees are green! ) we had a geography teacher called Mr Globe. When I was in the infants our head-mistress was called Miss Fidiss, her nickname was Miss Fiddlesticks because of the frequent caning she did on the children. A friend of mine surname is Speck, her sister-in-law is called Dot Speck!, There was a shop keeper where I lived in the north-east called Cutmore. X X X
