Ok, so this should be in a different section, but you lot are rather helpful/ to the point/ funny, so here goes.

Just left uni with a law degree, I hated my entire course, did it to compensate for my bro, who has serious problems and causes my father, and my disabled mother much heartache.

Ive excellent emotional intelligence skills, in that, I understand human emotion in all its complexities, I have spent the last couple of years working with young offenders, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Im savvy, self aware and self depracating. I love being outdoors, active, involved and respected. I have a criminal record.

Where do I go from here? I always thought Id be a police officer, but they wont touch me with a barge pole sterilised at both ends, to be a Social Worker Id have to go back to uni and study, which I cannot financially sustain, and my criminal record puts me at a major disadvantage, although the offence was not of a violent or dishonest nature.

Any advice? (would like to add, im not self pitying, as much as it sounds I am! take full responsibilty for all mistakes and failings! )

Mrs, you could always get a job in Debenhams on the Security team you know, seriously, you'd love it, you can go undercover as a shopper watching the scroats, or you can watch the staff on CCTV nicking the complementary toblerones, or you can sit in the staff canteen drinking coffee, reading the betting page in the sun and chatting to your bloke on your mobey!!!!!!!!
All for 18,000 a year!!!!!!!!!! shall i put a word in?
Plus these jobs in the bulltin are for the county council so the money is generally very good! Always a bonus! x
