my skin in looking really bad - i use a scrub, a tea tree wash and clinique clarifying lotion and oil-free moisturiser morning and night, but my skin is dull, spotty and sometimes flakey - i have combination skin but the products i use should not be a problem. I know hormanes can play a part, but can anyone tell me any good ways to get rid of red spots quickly and to leave me skin feeling and looking fresher, brighter and clearer? thank you

Wash your face several times a day with a very gentle soap - something like 'simple'. Dry well and apply a light moisturiser if you feel you must.
At bedtime, wash face again, and rub in plenty of sudocreme. It won't be a good look - but I guarantee your skin will look and feel better very quickly. Sudocreme is very cheap.
It certainly won't do any harm.

Hi sometimes just remember that overuse of products can be just as bad as not using them at all, it sounds to me like u may be stripping your skin of its natural oils, therefore forcing it to produce more to make up for the loss, other than that see your doctor, they can prescribe some good stuff that zaps spots but just tell the doctor that its getting you down and they will prescribe....
Also take a look at your diet are u getting enough vitamins, and essential fatty acids from things like pumpkin seeds etc, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, and 2 litres of water...
Good luck !!
