I cant recommend what you should try for oily skin but I do know that fish and nuts put more oil into your skin so try and cut down.
i suffer badly with it but i have pcos/hormone problems.
if you find out could you let me know!!! triedn everything. Only thing that helps - although it doesn;t stop it are the Tea tree oil aborption sheets from the body shop. u press them on your skin and they remove the excess oil without removing make-up or anything.
clinque do a really cool shine control cream and i have another product at home thats good - i think its bior shine control. Also, i use Max Factor powder and that controls it loads.
the good news is if you have very oily skin then you are less prone to getting wrinkles.
I have exactly the same problem. When i wake up in the morning i cant touch my face as it makes my hands so greasy. It looks terrible too, especially in the sunlight.

I now use Panoxyl gel which was prescribed by my doctor. I think it acts as i kind of oil on your skin which stops the body producing ay more. Its really good as it dries out the skin.

Thanx everyone, more natural remedies if anyone knows any please. Nice to know i'm not alone on this one!!
I used rimmel anti shine powder as a base to my make up, and have switched to a oil free moisturiser
soap and water, that really does dry up oily skin.
I use Estee Lauder Clear Difference moisturiser and it's really helped me, you can get it cheaper from Ebay sometimes. It mattifies your skin without drying it out, as I was told by my Doctor that if you use a product that drys your skin out, your oil glands then produce even more oil to counteract this!
