It is the Autumn Equinox tomorrow (I think) so bye bye summer. How does it affect you ? Summer gone, darker nights and Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas looming. Are you S.A.D. or happy at the prospect ?

As for 'that' word... Bah humbug.
Reading that back I'd say that I'm negatively effected by the autumn/winter months... ahem.

It is about 25 degrees here in sweltering Lancashire or it will be today, therefore it all seems so surreal! I love Autumn, my birthday is Halloween and it was before ever there was all this Halloween hype and trick or treating, the damn Yankees brought us that!
I am looking forward to a cosy warm winter as i have had the open lounge converted and I now have a very smart hallway with mood lighting and it will mean we are so much warmer this winter, and spend less on the central heating. We just are not sure now where the Christmas Tree will go, we have a huge one every year but now it will not be as impactive at the foot of the stairs because of the new hall, but I will sort that out I guess. Actually larkin i didn't realise how much i was looking forward to it all. TY for that!
