It could be stress, a recent bug or something. You could still be pregnant as the hormone the test picks up is low in very early stages of pregnancy.
If youve not come on in 5 days then take another test.

thanks, could this late period have anything to do with why i am feeling so low at the moment?
sorry i wouldnt know on that.
early pregnancy can cause symptoms such a sore breasts, tiredness but Im not sure about making you feel low. Are you under any stress or anything?

Not really but i think im thinking too hard about becoming pregnant, me and my partner have been together 4 years and we have both discussed having children and have decided there is nothing we want more, we have bought our own home together and have been trying for a child for about 6 months and every month we are both really upset that it hasnt happened.
I have absolutly no symptons of being pregnant so i really dont no what it could be.
Maybe thinking about becoming a mom is the worst thing i can do, is it better to try not to think about it and then see what happens??
I know women whove tried and tried and the moment they give in or make appointment to see a specialist they fall pregnant.
Try just to relax rather than putting too much into trying for a baby and just see what happens.
The stress of not being pregnant may be the cause of missing period but do a test in 5 days as i said if it hasnt arrived.

thanks for all your help x
Agree with redcrx - relax - makes it harder to get pregnant if you worry about not getting pregnant - up to 9 months of trying is normal without getting pregnant.
Would see GP after this time though.
it's also normal to miss periods 1 or 2 a year without there being a reason, but stress can certainly stop your periods.
I don't know wether you used contraception before but depo-provera (the injection) can stop fertility for up to 12 months after stopping using it
