when is day 1 of cycle?

Hi, i started spotting a little bit on day 17 of my cycle for 2 days then it stopped. Then i started spotting again on day 21 but didnt actually start bleeding until day 24. My average cycle is 25 days. Do i class my day one of cycle as day 24?
prev still has pityriasis rosea....
  
next how does this make sense?

Say one is the first day of ypur NORMAL period, smaal bleeds do not count. For you jessy08 your first day would be day 24.
