Given that many of us don't agree with how lifestyle is going in the UK, where would you emigrate to with regard to better quality of life, lack of racism, sexism and general equality that many of us strive for? I consider leaving the UK often, but then many of the other places I fantasise about living in aren't really that much better (especially with regard to sexism).

Australia or New Zealand for me! as much as this country winds me up sometimes, i dont think i would really like to live anywhere else if push came to shove.
1st choice would be Vancouver
2nd, Nafplion, Greece
I would have to say Oz, but I havent lived there for 17 years so I don't know how I'd get on????
But it's home after all :-))
Way back in 1979/80 we stayed in Sydney & Perth. We all fell in love with both places, but it would be too far to visit our family & friends back here.

Cyprus is only a 4 hour flight away, which would be ideal.
iraq,noones there
Without a shadow of a doubt the Domincan, to stop the dogs being run over to use as food, instead of escaping to the mountain (there are only a few not loads) and to try to help these guys earn a decent living so they don't have to eat dog (and before the veggies start about pigs, cattle etc I KNOW< BUT i have never had a pet pig or cow but to eat a dog is repulsive when you have owned and treasured several)
