Why remove a debate on the hypocritical actions of Britain?

Just as I was about to reply to the last comment, where the deluded person did not actually read the previous posts, i.e it has nothing to do with not allowing them their religion, but in not seeing that it could be used as a means of criminal (if not terrorist) activities, hiding, yes hiding behind a veil. Before replying read the comments!!

dunplimsoll, no, sorry, you wont get me in a veil. I believe our faces are what make us different to animals! How would you you see all my different expressions ;-) ????lol

pa___ul, i think its fair play for muslim woman to wear a head scarf, i just dont like the idea of anyones face being covered like that, as i have just mentioned, our faces set us apart from animals. I just think these veils are women being opressed and that has no place in our society, not these days. I find it very sad to think they have to hide away from the world.

I don't think it's our faces that set us apart from animals ... it's our desire to kill, main and generally fukc one over on each other ... it isn't in an animals nature to be unduly nasty to its own kind....

i mean animals in the way we express our feelings through our faces. We can see any sort of emotion from someone talking to us. Disappointment, happiness, anger,surprise etc etc........Thats what i dont like about veils. I find them intimidating. I dont think you feel like you are talking to another human being, more like staring at a blank image. You are at the disadvantage in conversation because they can read you, you cant read them.

pa___ul, that is extremely cruel!!! lol maybe we should be thinking more along the lines of handing them out in nightclubs to those who may need them!!!!! joking aside, its sad because i bet there are some truely beautiful women hiding themselves away from the rest of the world.

Whenever I wear sunglasses, I have always taken them off when speaking to someone - out of politeness. Nothing worse than somebody confronting you with them on. Very rude not to. I mentioned this to someone once about somebody else, who stood at the reception desk whilst I spoke to them (they were wearing their shades). I remarked after that it was the height of rudeness, did they have something to hide and that I would like to see the colour of their eyes (so to speak). It turned out the person I was addressing was the sister of the guy wearing the sunglasses!! Let's see the whites of your eyes is an old expression but it should still stand metaphorically.
