I just wondered if anybody else has this problem. I am scared of large objects that are on their own such as the Emley Moor TV mast. If somebody was to tell me to walk towards it on my own I would probably pass out. I read about a girl who recently went inside for a tour and she said that it was hollow all the way up. I don't think that I would be able to look up at all. I am the same with things like cooling towers, but I am okay in towns where all the buildings are tall, which is strange. I've read about phobias called batophobia and meglaphobia but I'm unsure if this is what it is. I did walk towards the Eiffel Tower in Paris but this was because it is not solid if you know what I mean. I'm not particularly frightened of heights (unless there was danger involved) and I wouldn't mind looking down from Emley Moor just not up at it or looking at the massive base of it. Anybody else a bit weird out there?.
I'm terrified of those huge navy destroyers (big grey boat things), and the ones that the planes take-off of. No idea why, I'm just terrified of them... they're so damn HUGE.
Also I'm afraid of any waves bigger than the poxy ones you get on a calm summers day...
The fact that you scared of large objects denotes that you feel insecure and its hard for you to make decisions. You dont seem to like anything out of place. Anything that stand out from the norm, seems to trouble you. [edit by ABED]
