well in regards to my two boys, it dosen't matter as they still pee all over the place.

I personally don't think it matters, as long as its kept clean on a regular basis

toilet seats should be put down, without a doubt! I have taught my 3 year old to do it everytime he uses the loo. Start as i mean to go on.
I do agree with laurence though, boys do have a habit of peeing all over the place!

down, if you think about it, girl No.1 and No.2 need seat down. Blokes No.1 up, No.2 down, therefore down wins. :-)

in my house its like ''the great pee debate'' with my wife, she will march into the room demanding who peed over the toilet seat and floor, its met with a deafly silence, then one of us says ''it wasen't me'' then we all deny it.

And who finishes up cleaning it up? yes me

my 4 yr old was having a wee the other day with the seat down and i said "your supposed to have the seat up son" so he promptly pulled his seat up whilst still in the act and needless to say it went everywhere!!

my opinion on this subject......... i really dont mind??

I can't say it really makes a difference. It takes a second to put it down. I think I'd much rather the boys left it up so that when I needed to go to the toilet I was guaranteed a clean seat!!!

The seat and lid should always be put down when not in use!x
