why katie?
Because why else would the lid be there???x
of course!!! absolute genius that girl
Why, thank you!x
men, is it really so duifficult just to put the seat down after use? I would say not. The seat should be down because for one, it looks awful with it up.
unrulie, when im in a strange place (like the Shires for example) and I go to the toilet, whether or not the seat is up or down, I have to grab a hanfull of tissue and clean it, so it doesnt really matter. have you been in the toilets in the Shires lately?
No, i dont use them john, i go in the haymarket if i really have to but try to avoid them if possible. In fact, i try to avoid the shires all together! Public toilets are something quite different though.
OMG the haymarket is worse, you see some strange sights going up them escalators, and thats just the security staff
Do you leave cupboards and drawers open? I see it as a lid not a seat. Why bother having one if you are going to leave it sticking up. It also keeps nasty smells in. I think men do it to prove a point
LOL i think i know one you might mean, a short, hu- hum, woman with cropped blonde hair???? Ring any bells????
I know they're not great either but tell me which are?
The shires take too long to get to. Why do they have to be right at the very end of the centre? Leicester is rubbish for public toilets full stop. Is every City this bad?
Having lived in my home with my wife and three daughters, I have always been in the habbit of leaving the seat down - even when I stay alone in hotels I still do it because it is such a habbit.

If i wanted to make an issue of masculinity versus femininity, I would choose a less cliched and irritating platfrom for my actions that a toilet seat.
Is that you unrulie? ever see a ginger, slightly greying around the temples but rugedly good looking richard gere lookalike walking around like he owns thje place?
In Melton we have to pay to use the public toilet and, as a result they are spotless. However melton is a small town, much different
From the big cities
John, you are very cheeky! ;-) That is not me, i like to think i am slighty more feminine than that!!!
Dont you worry, if i ever see a Richard Gere lookalike in the town centre,i will know who it is, i just hope the St Johns are around when it happens cause im likely to faint!!!!!!!! lol

Maybe i should shop in melton instead!

I only look like him in side profile, as for fainting dont trust the St Johns, they are dangerous, try swooning into the arms of an ex army medic, I know all the latest resuscitation technique's.
Apart from the farmers market on a tuesday and friday, Melton is too small for retail therapy, you're much better off in Leicester, or Nottingham for that matter
from now on John, i will be looking out for that ex army man whenever i am in the town and i will indeed be swooning into your arms instead of the St Johns!!!!! LOL
I dont do retail therapy, i hate shopping!!!!! I am your untypical woman who hates shopping for clothes and shoes!
you are every man's dream unrulie. No shopping, paradise, we've been around fosse park so many times i've almost taken up reidence, in fact, when we're not watching the tigers, i can usually be found in Borders in the business or law sections, cramming for an essay or exam, :)
LOL ! i loathe Fosse Park! I avoid it like the plague especially at this time of the year. Shopping is done as a necessity not for pleasure in my books. Am i very weird for a female?????, maybe i am that security guard at the Haymarket after all! LOL
I must apologise to you, hugginsc for the complete and utter hi- jack of your thread.
drives me mad everytime i go to use it my hubby has left it up,think he does it to wind me up.looks better if its down
has 2 be down or i go mad .it really winds me up when it gets left up .think he leaves it up in my house 2 wind me up 2 .MEN WHAT A PAIN .
