Detox foot patches
5 Answers
Has anyone tried these patches and do they work?
My friend claims to have lost weight through these, but
I am a bit sceptical.
Pricey too, even if you use them once a week!

Didnt really think that they would work, but when i took them off this morning, the patch had gone a really horrible brown colour, and there was all this sticky brown goo stuff - not very nice at all! But made me think that they must be doing something? Or am i just being fooled?!
I am using them at the moment - 3 pack was on buy one get one free from tesco. As prev person says they are all browny and yeuchy when they come off - perhaps this could just be from moisture but I dont know. I feel must be removing something from body. Dont actually think will make much difference weight wise as I believe only move more eat less does. My friend did use them recently also and she said that skin seemed a bit brighter after using them and she felt she slept better. We shall see - i probably only bought because of the offer.
ever seen litmus paper? changes colour when touched with and acid or alkali ... you release sweat.
there are also various substances that with melt and turn to goo when kept warm and moist.
this goo could be any number of clever chemical reactions set off by the acids on your feet, or simply by warmth
do a test - put one somewhere else on the body overnight - somewhere dry and near bone such as the kneecap - see if it has the same effect.
or wear it against your skin but with something inbetween like a piece of cotton, to ensure the right temperature for the right length of time, and see it this goo appears
let us know the results if you do test them.
