Wrist pain

I get a shooting pain in my wrist when cutting hard things with knives, such as cheese. Is this simply Arthritis?

maybe its kinda wrist equivalent of shin splints...I dont know if thats a medically sound explanation. But I have had pains in my shins when walk at times and this sounds similar kinda pain you speak of.
could be RSI I have this and cant cut cheese to save my life, Do you have shaky hands when lifting heavy things?

My right hand tends to shake uncontrollably if, say, I have been polishing the car, and then try to hold a glass of water. I do a lot of typing for my job, so I guess it could be RSI.
yes I type alot and I'm guessing its RSI, vacuuming for me is the worst. Well thats my excuse :-)
Nothing can reverse it really, only an operation, but getting a wrist support for your keyboard will help :-)
