it would appear that some people come on here wringing their hands hoping they get offended so the wailing can start, i take full responsibility however for any offence cause by my anti cliff comment, truly he is a legend, 95 years of age and never married im sure kleenex have a statue of him up at hq but again sorry i have spent the entire afternoon in a cardboard box in remorse at my thoughtless post :(
Crikey! I thought I'd finished telling children off when my lot all went home!
Have had cards and lovely visits from most of them (two are about 150 odd miles away) and bet I've had the most unusual prezzie of the day.
I happened to mention to daughter No. 1 that I was clean out of bread and she came bearing a freshly baked crusty loaf! Very sensible and much appreciated. She knows I don't like anything that I have to dust or that dies on me (like flowers).
And it was a lovely post, Mr. Knowall - have a happy day and a very motherly kiss - X -
