Sorry false alarm...

The thread was great ummmm, it reminded me of the cover version Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel did in '76!!
That long hot summer when Elton John & Kiki Dee stayed at no. 1... Dion - The Wanderer, Shangrilaas - Leader of the Pack, Crystal Gale - Dont it make my brown eyes blue, Midnight Train to Georgia.... LOD Love on Delivery, ..... Wings at the Speed of Sound............

Makes my era late 70's - early 80's

Hi miss i thought you was taking them all to the thread on B/S
So sorry mrknowall, didn't mean to spoil your thread....
... thought there was a crisis, but it was just someone being silly (also wanted to know if I'd been doing things wrong!).

Back to your superb thread....
.. do you remember when we all discovered punk and thought we were such rebels.....pogo-ing around all over the place?
I truly thought my heart would break if I didn't meet/snog/go out with Johnny Rotten........... ha ha
early 80's for me, but i love some of the bands of the 60/70's now i'm a touch older!

its ok its been removed now.
I did get into the punk music for a while.
80's music for me, probably only because they bring back happy memories, of carefree days.
How old are you curly?

I thought 80's was good for dance music (well we invented discos then) with Sat Night Fever etc.....
Liked later punk stuff, think we called it 'New Wave'... sounds dated already...lol
Oh heck, where's everyone gone?
I didn't lead them to a mass culling did I? :-(
i'm 37, but always loved music, especially, omd, u2, visage, flock of seagulls, duranduran, kraftwork, teardrop explodes all that sort of stuff
but loved loose ends, fatback band, sos band, and early hip hop, more so
nah, more likely me Miss Random. I have that effect on a question LOL

The 80's were full of cheesey plastic pop music, apart from Queen + U2 (in my humble opinion)

Yeah, our disco music was cheesy... but after years of the Osmonds, Jackson 5 and Bay City Rollers, we thought it was cool!!
