Funny Women?

Most women, given a list of things they look for in a man, put sense of humour near the top on the list- usually first or second. A man who can make you laugh is very attractive and sexy. However, do men look for this quality in a woman? Or do they see funny women as a threat? Or are women just not funny?
Men- please tell!!

I should have said of course our BOO has a great sense of humour, she gets stick for it sometimes, cos people take it the wrong way and she says what she thinks, I like that, another couple of ladies i just thought of, Champagne, Pinkfizz, and the lovely wonderwoman.

I cant see how women with a sense of humour are a threat in any way! On this site there are some very funny women!

Mens priorities are perhaps slightly different when push comes to shove though, big boobs, great ar$e and fantastic in bed probably rate a bit higher than her ability to crack a great joke!!

This question is linked to an ex-boyfriend I had, who said that women weren't funny. I've noticed since then a good few men who don't laugh at women's jokes, but think it is the woman's job to laugh at his. In that respect, women are subservient. They can giggle and admire the man, but it would be a sign of weakness for the man to find the woman funny.
I know! It SEEMS ridiculous, but I keep being proved right!!! Or, men who do laugh at women's jokes, but if you said to them "do you find x funny" they wouldn't remember ever laughing at a joke she had made.

In that case Scarlett, I think the blokes you speak of are very insecure, I will say a lot of women can't tell a joke as such, but that is not the same as being funny or having a sense of humour.

I think you're not in the right "circles" then hun. My male friends find me funny, and i do find them funny, that's why we are friends and always have a great laugh! I have "done" it in the past with a couple of them (not at the same time...lol), and we have been able to over come the awkwardness because we are friends and we are equals! We're just not suited as gf/bf, but that does not mean they think i'm ugly, or horrible, or whatever, and the opposite is true too!
