What are you going to do that's environmentally friendly?
In order to save a little bit of energy, I'm going to stop washing my clothes.
Seriously though, I am recycling all my paper at work and I'm growing my own chillis, and as of Monday this week I am now buying all my organice fruit/veg from Abel & Cole (http://www.abel-cole.co.uk/).

I haven't had a ciggarette yet today either so that's also decreasing my carbon footprint and I will be encouraging everyone in the office to switch their PC off if they go out for lunch. I'm afraid abel and cole don't deliver to my area, gutted about that, I'd love a service like that in my city!
Take a sickie, therefore saving on having to drive to work, which will also bring on a train cancellation, which will save burning up 500 litres of fuel into the atmosphere, which also in turn would mean that some people would have to walk home instead which will assist in them losing additional calories which will make the world abit lighter:-)
Think I might just about neutralise the effects of Ratter's Range Rover by recycling paper, tins, glass & plastic, composting our kitchen waste, growing many of our own vegetables, using water butts, putting "hippos" in our cisterns to reduce water usage and using energy saving light bulbs. . I also do a daily "free click" on the Save the Rainforest "site, by which sponsors give a free donation for every click to buy a small area of Rainforest to preserve it.
Phew ! Feel quite self-righteous so will now permit myself a short car drive to visit the library. as books will probably be bulky heavy to carry home on foot.

Where's my stars?
I do recycle, honest. We have 3 bins, a green for general stuff, blue for paper and brown for garden waste. We also have a black box for bottles, cans and tins (which is embarrassing cos you realise how much alcohol you drink in two weeks). Champs would need a few black boxes!

My last engine management check (about a fortnight ago) said I am averaging about 7 miles to the gallon.
I fly about 10-15 times a year.
I have a 1/5000th swimming pool which means it is is continually using 1/5000th of the water.
I refuse to spend money on organic food. It is a con and no difference.
However............................................
My loo flushes rain water
I maintain about 700 trees and will plant some more
I recycle absolutely everything I can, both refuse and general goods like clothes and books.
My home is fully insulated
I have a solar powered calculator!!!!!!

I'm afraid I can only give you 2 stars Wardy because you're wrong about organic food, and I will argue the point until the day I die. It is a con insomuch as it is more expensive, but that's as far as the con goes.
And you're right Nediddly, the council have supplied me with a black painted skip which I put all my 'empties' into. I'm on first name basis with all the off licences in the area too. Which I walk to, by the way. :o)
