I was fixing the lift at the complex as instructed, and the lift suddenly plummeted i would say about 14 floors. I was stood on top of it and a bit shook up afterwards but managed to grab onto the maintanence ladder. Is it legal for the complex to make me fix a lift with no saftey gear on? The boss said if i didn't do the complex a favour i would loose my job. (Think its because the boss fancys the complex owner) Anyway, i fixed the lift but bloody hell, never am i going, on top of the lift of a 40 storey building when the lift is on floor 31. Boss can take his favours and.. i better stop here.
Seriously, the only reason i did it was because:
A) To keep my job.
B) To get paid some more cash.
C) Because i use the lift every time i come into work because otherwise i have to climb the stairs.
you can now engage a solicitor and sue your boss, the complex, his accountant, your high school teacher, your parents and your schizophrenic other half for making you think you could do it.
Firstly, it happened in an hour because when i posted on here i was about to start work.
Secondly, before i got chance to fix it the lift dropped and so did my tool box and i grabbed onto the ladder on the wall.
Thirdly, the accountant is currently on training ready for starting on monday.
