I was fixing the lift at the complex as instructed, and the lift suddenly plummeted i would say about 14 floors. I was stood on top of it and a bit shook up afterwards but managed to grab onto the maintanence ladder. Is it legal for the complex to make me fix a lift with no saftey gear on? The boss said if i didn't do the complex a favour i would loose my job. (Think its because the boss fancys the complex owner) Anyway, i fixed the lift but bloody hell, never am i going, on top of the lift of a 40 storey building when the lift is on floor 31. Boss can take his favours and.. i better stop here.
crossroads change your name to walter mitty, I just ask a friend who is alift engineer and he said all what you have said in his words not mine "what a load of bollox" all lifts have service contracts, nobody apart from accredited engineers is allowed to touch them and they cannot, repeat cannot drop. what an exciting life you lead in your head.
**** sally, its not my fault that the boss made me go to the lift, and the lift engineer is correct, except for the fact that the saftey devices and lift cable on this lift were broken.
I don't know how thats just what i was told.
I don't know if it dropped by itself or somebody pressed it to go down all i know is that it started moving down and i grabbed onto the mantanence ladder.
