Bad news

Baby grape is very ill at the moment has been in hospital since friday he has meningitus i am worried sick!
The hospital say it hard to tell right now how he will get on with the treatment!
I have been sent home for the afternoon to try and relax easier said than done

Try and get a bit of food in you and get a bit of rest if you can.

Oh you poor thing! There is nothing I can think of to say that will help you at this difficult & worrying time. If it's any consolation I know of 3 little 'uns who've had meningitis and have all pulled through unscathed. Baby grape is such a cute, gorgeous boy and my thoughts & prayers are with you. My youngest had meningitis at 2 weeks old. In hospital for 2/3 weeks. All ok ..

If so, he is a bonny lad and of course he will be alright.

Worrying is natural, but you should be more worried at how many phone calls you are going to get in 15 years time from heartbroken girls who have just be ditched by the Boy Grape.

What can I say oldgrape , nothing that will stop you being worried I know. My niece had it and got through it with no ill effects and I hope your precious little one gets well real soon. Keep us informed if you are able to spare the time .

Poor little mite! Try not to worry though, I know easier said than done! But soon he will back to his usual bouncy self, break dancing in the bath and back with his mate henry the hoover!

Aww -hard to know what to say -be strong and positive.I know its easier said than done to relax but look upon that as a good sign -the docs wouldnt have sent you home -they would have put a bed up next to him for you.

My son had the viral form -like someone said the less serious form but the first few days are just a blur.I knew when he was fine when the docs sent be home -I had been on a campbed for 3 nights.

My thoughts are with you hun -such a bloody awful time.
