shazam.....I used to get those....horrible! I would wake from being 'almost' asleep,and feel stone cold...and then start shaking. It would take a good 20 min to warm up.
Not happened in ages.
As I've just said, it can be a sign that something needs sorting out, rb. See your doctor.

R u sitting in a draft? Are you cold? Even though I sit near a locked window the side of me facing the window is colder than the other side. Must be the cold on the glass.

Have u got a temperature - then you need the doc.
Well done, AB`ers, this thread is a perfect example of how to ignore an unwelcome intruder who`s obviously not getting into the spirit of the question. That`s the way to make them vamoose.
I get shivers because my gallbladder is dodgy, it happens if I eat trigger foods and my body is trying to digest it.

do you have any other symptoms ?
Maybe a disorder of your hypothalamus? I don't know if that's possible, it's just a guess. Check with your doc!
