A size 6 in the US is equivalent to a size 10 in the UK! Can't really say I've ever heard of sizing like 44/11. An 11 would be between a 14/16. I don't know what 44 is. This sounds more like continental sizing. 44 is a size 16! Oh dear, I think I may have upset you!
On the positive side... Clown trousers are in this season... ;)
Like my mum used to say... you'll grow into them :) Now you must be the only person who has a good excuse to eat cakes all day?!
hi cinde, i am only guessing, but i beleive that it means size 44 european or south american, and the 11 is just size 11 here in the US. but that kinda confuses because our sizes go like 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and so on. or, if they were men's size 44, then it would be 44x30, 44x32, 44x34, which would mean 44 inch at the waist 30 inch inseam, the inseam being the seam from the crotch to the floor or sole of the shoe. then, we also have the easy sizing: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. and of course petite sizes, which i buy, where a size 4 is for someone 105 pounds, for example. my gues is that a size 11 would be pretty much a large size.

Thanks guys! I went on a brazilian jeans website and I am guessing I am a 38 or a 40. I am still a bit confused though. I am 126 pounds and 5'7 and take a UK 8 or 10.
Oy, Worder! "I would guess 11 would be a large size." Spoken like a true size 4. :)
