The best thing is to invent several different lives, all bursting with drama, and play them out on here. I don't do it because I haven't got the time, but lots of other people do.
Your name doesn't mean anything on here!!
you can call yourself diddley-squat and it wouldn't matter..............but anyone can read your posts.
It's not just for you and salla between you. that's what i'm saying.

sqad617, may I timidly suggest that to anyone who knows you or knows of you, you have already supplied enough background information over the past weeks for the concusion "oh that is mad Bertie Archard from Slingsby"

Question Author
kjc...you intimated that someone coming onto the site would recognise my post.........HOW?
Question Author
gormless ....is Slingsby, Lincolnshire.?
How can a thread starting with gingsters pies end up like this?! I have had more than enough drama in my life to not need or want to invent any. I can't be bothered to justify myself on here any more; I have no need to.

All I can say is - my goodness, what a lot of perfect people we seem to have on here who have never done anything they should (according to those perfect people) be ashamed of. Do you think I go round in my 'real' life telling all & sundry my personal bits & bobs? My misdemeanours, my embarrassing moments, my 'shameful' moments. I do so on here in a cloak of anonymity (I like that expression; have used it a lot). I do so on here because no-one really knows me, and most of the time I just like to make someone laugh.

Can we get back to Gingsters? I personally prefer their sausages rolls. Heated up, with tommy sauce.
No I didn't.

I said anyone could read your ramblings about your wife and say to themselves....'what a saddo, talking about his wife like that. I dunno, some blokes have got no decorum'........or something like that.

not that they know you personally!!

Oh I give up!

off to cook evening meal.

It's from a Bertie Wooster book, Slingsby's Soups, Bertie gets conned into having his mugshot plastered all over advertising hoardings for soup. I suspect it was a price he had to pay for Jeeves getting him out of deep stum. I think they holidayed in Monte Carlo to get away from it all.

Have a sausage kjc!

Can't stand Ginsters pies myself, Salla. ;o)

Question Author
salla.....where have you been, I have been fending off these perfect specimens for about an hour.
I went to get some fresh air. I felt all dirty & stuffed up. (Can I say stuffed up?)
ooh lovely all that pastry and naughtiness - yummy!!
hey up squad can i have broon sass with minex
Question Author
rinkins.....don't you stir it up.
sorry ... :-(

I was referring to the fat and calories I promise! I love cornish pasties but they are very bad for you. Still, the guilt doesn't last forever!
I just love a good debate.
And a quality sausage (you cannae beat Bycrofts. At a push - Mountains, but they don't wash their hands properly in there).
no rinkins - the guilt doesn't last forever. If, indeed, you have any in the first place.... ;-)

Question Author
salla...the "good debate" has been nipped in the bud.
