Are you all alone right now ? just sort of staring into space ? day dreaming ? thinking ? seems as though a million things are going through your mind, is your mind another word for your brain ? we' ve all heard that saying " Stop playing mind games with me ", and in some countries, playing/controlling your mind was/is some form of torture, confessing, signing to any paper put in front of you, is it our minds via the adverts,tv, whatever that has brain washed us into buying their product ? can you control your mind ?  other peoples ? make anyone do something which they aren't aware of ? most women do it regulary, start crying, few tears, and us men are like putty in their hands, outside, up that ladder,painting the house, or whatever ! give me all your best ones please, mind games or control, read once that if you sat at the table long enough, just staring and concentrating on the glass, you will make it move ! fellas, perhaps thats why the misses is looking straight at you right now !!! can you read his/her mind ? are you that one step ahead 'cos you know what they're thinking ? are there battles because you know each other ( their mind, their way of thinking ) so well ? but then, will us men EVER really know what makes a woman tick ? answers please .

good morning one and all..... my whole question was really meant to be a serious one, got rather ' led astray 'and out of reason tho'..... not too worry , cos i like to have a good laugh too..... but thank you,Cidermonkey and now Yinzer for your good replies.... mind control, or mind over matter, does and can work, the worse aspect is that ' it works, maybe on you, or me' without us knowing ! so if you learn/master the same techniques, you can ' fight ' back, instead of 'being used .... the U.S, army intelligence(1983) set up a special unit, trying to train soldiers ' into believing they could walk through walls !!! to be able to bend spoons,  to have out of the body experiences and believe they were invisible !! to  look at at another person, and completely wipe out their memory ! to ' stare at a goat long enough to where the goat drops dead ! sounds crazy to me ! but like you, yinzer an' cidermonkey, there's a lot out there that has yet to be answered.... thus, my long drawn out question , too long for some i know... but ' what happens if you dont ask '??

2nd Row - What are you on? Either you're thinking too much or not thinking enough. Anyway, just to get to a couple of points: You can convince someone that he can walk through walls, but he won't walk through them. Women manipulate men through their emotions either on purpose, accidently, with or without knowing it. Women skilled at it can go a long way in this world. Will men ever understand women? - You will get a long way towards it if you realise that men will never fully understand women. There is men's logic and there is women's logic. They are not the same. As far as men are concerned, a woman's mind is a 'logic-free' zone. That is not an insult to women, it's recognition that they have different priorities and agendas. See Billy Joel's 'Always A Woman to Me' for a clue. Once you 'get it' that they are different, you will be, maybe, halfway to understanding them.

 Here we go again, in reply to Merlin, of course these soldiers never made it through the walls ! can give you the words and response from some of those taken part, but them, being CONVINCED they could, thats MIND control surely ? not only do men manipulate woman/other men.... yes, women manipulate us men/ other women too, okay, i agree with you, no matter in what form or reason . and in saying that we will never know,understand them because they exist in this logic free zone, being on equal terms us men and women, do they understand us ? the answer is in the last part of your reply merlin, "women skilled at it can go a long way in this world " there are more female ' bosses , in top jobs, and still rising in numbers than ever before, not. i must add,through 'control ' but hard graft , knowledge, etc. congratulations to them all, we men. CONTROLLED these women, kept them down ! they fought back, and have won... i love women ! for all their mysteries etc. dont want to control them ! can still shake my head and 'wonder why ' sometimes,

Now that you mention how men used to mind control women for so long I wonder if this is womens' unconscious way of getting back. Surely 70 years ago women weren't as able to wrap a man around their fingers? If this is possible then it is a bit reminiscient of how black people can publicly express their hatred for whites and still not be considered racist yet a white person would practically get eaten alive.** It's our turn! Well 2nd row, it's good to know that there are still men out there who can appreciate a woman. I need to get me one of those! Hey, if convincing soldiers that they can walk through walls is mind control then surely convincing a woman that she can climb the corporate ladder to the top is also? I hear too many stories about that unexpected "glass ceiling" but then I guess that qualifies for another thread...
