anybody had their gallbladder removed due to gallstones.. How effective is surgery in reducing the stomache cramps.. Have you tried any of the homemade recipes with any success?

Not had the op myself but I've seen a lot.  They tend do do it exclusively as a laparoscopic(keyhole) procedure these days and a good surgeon will complete the op in 35-45 minutes, depending on individual anatomy, previous ops, scarring, adhesions etc.

i had my gallbladder removed like 4 years ago.  the surgery was nothing just some stomache cramps.  for about 6 months afterwards id get cramps like i still had my gallbladder but then it stopped and i have been symptom free since. good luck!
