Do you know anyone in one? Whose Idea was it originally and are they really happy or has one of the partners dominated this decision and the other went along with it?

Put it this way.....My OH doesn't even like the thought of me with another woman. So it's a big fat NO...
Courgettes seem a bit "bristley" for that sort of thing.

I have some handcuffs, and a few bath robe cords, but I'm really not sure about the courgette.
sounds pretty standard to me,....rhubarb and a riding crop anyone?
You put a condom on them JJ.
ummmm's OH may be the only guy ever who doesn't like the idea of his OH with another woman.

Jayne....he's too lazy to have a fantasy.
LOL ... Now that is REALLY lazy !!
lol...I know...but it's true. Anything he thinks about has to involve him and he doesn't like the idea of having to please two women.
People who have open relationships don't advertise the fact or dash straight to AB and say "hey folks, we have an open relationship"

This is often kept to themselves.

One partner may know what is happening and turn a blind eye and vice versa....one could surely define that as an open marriage.

Yes I do know someone who has an "open marriage" but the excitement soon wears off as they get older and this couple have been married for 25years.

Before the "biddies" start crowing..........it is not my marriage that I have been describing.
Turning a blind eye is not an open relationship. It's putting up with it....
