I reckon this is bull, has anyone heard of or been with a cheater that cheated only once and never again?
Or maybe with a spouse beater that has raised their hand but never done it twice? Just for the record I am against spousal abuse and cheating but refuse to believe that everyone that is involved in this will *re offend again* Agree? Disagree?

No...I know someone who hit his Mrs a few times but he was going through emotional turmoil. He didn't do it again.
I think that there's a great deal of difference in 'cheating' when a teenager and when in a serious relationship when older. Who didn't have a lot of boyfriends/girlfriends when growing up but when your older it doesnt tend to happen. People can change. Wife beaters ? Not so sure any violent person is ever fully changed .

So once violent always violent cutetoni? Experience or a guess?
As ummm says, there can be pressures - not excusable but remove the pressures and the person can change. I would be cautious though. Male or female, it isn't acceptable to beat up your partner under any circumstances.
How would you really know because a careful cheat is not found out. Somebody once warned me about somebody who had hit me, that once he had crossed that "boundary" and hit a woman he could do it again. I got out of the relationship. My husband has never hit me in 36 years, but he did push me once!

But don't many spousebeaters blame their heinous crimes on pressure boxtops?
His Mum died when his wife was pregnant with his first child. It sent him a bit dolally. His wife left after the second time he hit her. He dealt with it then....
I do think pressure plays a major part in spusebeating. Unless the beater is just a bully...!
spouse beater, maybe he was smacking her for misbehaving?
Question Author
I think that everyone can change, maybe the reason for change could be realization, the stop of drink and drugs , a help course, a new child or maybe a new belief in god. Agree?
I'm sorry, but I do think the statement depends on the victim/partner as much as the assailant/cheat
I think it depends on the individual person. My friend was with him for 4 years before he hit her....so it was out of character.

Cazzz spouse means male or female and what a horrid thing to say. There maybe women reading this that have been through abuse so It's not exactly a fun thing to mae light out of.
Some crazylegs, but some are just not in control of their own emotions and actions. Losing self-control due to frustration or aggravation is not a pretty sight.
no need for the soap box crazylegs....
Question Author
And whys that cazzz? Not an important subject in your opinion?
I've never been in a relationship where I haven't cheated, a man who cheats and then promises to never do it again is a liar
you dont mind smacking kids but you dont like an adult hitting another adult....

I was just getting things into context thats all ;)
Do your partners heat on you Joe?
^ I fluffing well would..........;o)
