Been taking ibropfen (sp) every four hours.
Could they be upsetting my stomach? Not eaten much for the last few days because I feel a bit sickly...but still taking the tablets.

Have you tried an icepack on the fingers? Good old frozen peas or sweetcorn (cos small bits mould better) wrapped in a teatowel and then rest the painful bits on it. Don't use for long periods or without the wrap or you risk skin damage. i would deffo talk to the GP about a different painkiller if the IBu isn't working at that dose and it will make you feel decidedly horrid on an empty tum as well as risking tum bleeds like aspirin does
