How long healing ??

As from previous threads.... how long do you recon that the pains will carry on from a cyst thats burst and left infection internally ???

Im on anti bs which i started yesterday but still getting quite strong pains!

Rough estimate ?

I'd have thought the doc would have given you a combo of Metronidazole and Cephalexin... (I'm sure I had that).

Thanks no mercy last time i had this happen i was taken into a&e n was given morphine but didnt recognise the signs & symptons this time stupidly.. oh well you've just got to get on with it

Where exactly was the cyst? Was in an ovarian or actually in the womb?

I can't believe that you would not be in hospital if it was an ovarian cyst, so i'm guessing womb.

I would hope once your antibiotics start to work the pain will lessen significantly, that usually takes 2-4 days.

looby---you didn´t tell me that you have had this before and had to go to A&E....if this hasn´t settled by lunchtime today, I would call the doctor again.

Ahhh sorry sqad didnt think tbh the only thing a*e done before is strong painkillers n a scan at a different hospital..

Will see how i get on today if not will be ringing gp still getting pains
