I was seeing this guy about a month ago... we had a bit of a pregnancy scare and he said he wanted to cool it off for a bit until we were sure i wasn't..... he had a bad experience last year which i fully understood... anyways everything was cleared up and i wasn't pregnant which i told him. i then asked if we were still cooling it off or what?. to this he asked me what i thought and i said well i don't know thats why i asked. He said we were really good friends and he didn't want to flump that up cause he hurts everyone. i said that i ddn't think he would hurt me and that i feel a bit confused cause he tells his best pal that he really likes me but says something different to me. he says that we should take it slow get to know eachother and see where it goes. i don't know what to do? he flirts all the time and stands really close when he is talking to which i have started to take a step back and i generally end up being really blunt. he says i am being mean but he can't expect to turn round and say we are really good friends and expect it to go back to the way it was when we were more than friends. I really don't get it... does he want more?

mamy....by Christ! your answer has turned me right on ;-)
^^^ He is easily pleased.
But whatever you say, it is still sex isn't it sqad?
Sqad, you are irrascible..... (is that where the word rascal comes from, or am I completely confused? All this sex talk makes my brain go fuzzy)
starbuck....I did think that we were talking about consensual sex.............but yeah! you're right.
sqad, "....my hand is shaking with rage...." hmmmm :)
He might be irrascible but we can't do without him salla. He is very good with illnesses and always the voice of wisdom and patience. Except on this subject, of course.
Den, easily pleased?? I will have you know he carries a torch for me LOL

Star, with all due respect I have always seen rape as a matter of power, control and violence even though of course it does involve a sexual act.

not for the taking pinki - keep off :)

Gotta get off here, its tooooooooooo frustrating :)
Mamy and sqad, yes - just stirring a bit! You are both quite right.
Stir away Star, it all adds to the debate.
Its over move on.
All this happened only about a month ago?

If he brings up the such good friends thing I'd be tempted to point out that a such a good friend wouldn't cool off in such circumstances, would have least have tried to be supportive, especially with their involvement!
