Well, I'm scottish B00 and was brought up on sugar pieces and fizzy juice - it's a bit of a miracle that I don't have a mouth full of wooden teeth like most of the population! I'm nearly 45 btw. The dentist reckons that the reason I have so little treatment is because I didn't go - he says that if I had gone regularly I would have a mouth full of fillings too. The tendancy was to fill anything that even looked liek it was thinking of decaying, when actually if you leave well enough alone, most little brown bits on the chewing surfaces of your teeth don't come to anything. I get an xray taken every couple of years and no problems underlying either. Maybe it's just genetics, my mum still has most of her own teeth and she is 78 this year - she was dentist phopic fo many years too so maybe that's the saving grace. I should maybe stop taking the boys along.
