It is the combination of Christian name and surname that sometimes makes you wonder what the parents were thinking of. Three genuine examples :- Aileen Legge, P. Souper and Miney Bird.
If like me you were born in Bournemouth late 1960's you too might have had your birth certificate signed by the registrar Mr Anker.....a Mr W.Anker! he didn't even think of adding a middle initial.what were his parents thinking? (Wonder how many people have w.anker on there B certificate?)

Thinking about it, it would be quite cool to sign W.Anker on official forms!

That's Mr Q Cumberpatch to room 3, please " followed by a range of snorts and giggles as the announcer's ears caught up with her mouth......one very red teenaged boy stood up and shuffled off. What were his parents thinking ?
Used to have a customer in a very early job called Mr Triplecock.
