I split up with my fiance last November, we have remained friends to a certain extent. Mainly because we had all the same friends. Recently me and one of our friends have been getting closer. My ex has already told our friend that he wouldnt mind if we went out. I really like this bloke and i think he likes me aswell. But im a bit confused as when it is just me and him we are like a couple, ie all cuddly and kissing and that but when we are around everyone else he is just a mate. I havent got a problem with it but i just need to know where i stand. Do you think i am being to pushy or insecure??
TIA

it may be that he does not want to rub your ex's nose in it and is being respectful , its probaly a difficult sitation to be in x

Thats what i was thinking but my ex has given him permission as it were to go out with me! Everyone we know says we should be together as we are so good together but anytime anyone says anything he just laughs it off.
,mabye he could be using you for a bit of fun then and does not want commiment , i dont see why he being a bit off with you if everyone is comfortable with the situation you shpuld talk to him deex
Maybee when you are out with your friends he likes the relationship you all share, if you two where hugging and kissing etc all night it may change the atmosphere you all share. Its good to be mates, and keeping your relationship between yourselves isnt a bad thing.
not at all, put yout foot down, its not fair on you and basically he is just using you without the commitment. He either wants you or he doesnt. Give him an Ultimatum.

Thats what i was thinking that grumpii as we are a close little group of friends. And he isnt totally off with me when we are all together. Plus he hasnt had a proper girlfriend for a while so maybe he is just bideing his time!
Staying friends after a relationship bollxcs the only reason that happens is cas the stupid bloke still thinks hes got a chance without been funny you should have kicked each other to the curb and move on and ro what you want
Also freinds between blokes and girls dont happen it is only cas the bloke wants the leg over so your on a certanty unless hes a twxt which isnt usually the case
Question Author
Staying friends after a relationship isnt bollxs. It all depends if you can be grown up enough to get on with everything. I know i have no chance with my ex even if i wanted one and if he wants to think he has a chance with me then thats his choice but it wont happen. And men and women can be friends without it involving getting your leg over!
Well yeah maby if its your girlfreind friend maby but bollxcs about been friends after a split your on another planet you split up cas you cant stand each other okay you may not argue and may talk but not as friends and only if you have kids
some people split up coz they just dont work as lovers, doesnt mean they cant be mates.
Question Author
We didnt split up because we couldnt stand each other. We had just grown apart! I suppose that is just your opinion but im sure there are other people out there that have stayed friends with their exs!!! And who have friends of the opposite sex.
What is the differnt from grown apart and dont like each other listen to the motorhead song too late too late where the bloke actually doese the right thing tell the cow to fuxc off its only because most blokes are stupid and still thinks theres a chance they dont the best way is to go fxck u bixc get pixxed and find a new bird to shxg
And women should do the same if the blokes like that
why? If you have no issues with each other and share same friends, better to stay mates and there to be no animosity.
Well like I said you could talk but no way would you be friends I suppose its pride it depends if youve dumped them maby you do wanna be friends cas your not hurt but the other way round no way
have you had bad experiences with girls meaty because you seem to be very against them today
Question Author
I agree with you 4getmenot! Why hate someone for no reason! It is just as easy to forget everything that happened and be mates!
Ow thanks for ganging up on me well suppose I aint gonna win this one good luck with this bloke x
