They are both happy married with children. Things are better than ever now!
I think some people have a cheating personality, but I think this will be obvious from the start, but I don't think things are so black and white!

not necessarily... think Warren Beatty, who was a big time player for decades then suddenly settled down. If you mean someone who has regular relationships but is unfaithful within them... I'd say more like three times a cheat, always a cheat. The odd infidelity does happen, for a variety of reasons, but it doesn't mean it will always happen. But if someone is serially unfaithful to different people, then avoid him. (Or her.)
Disagree, I met my husband whilst cheating on someone else, we've been married 8 years and I've never been tempted since, there are a lot of reasons why relationships go wrong and I think cheating is a symptom not a cause.
Well the truly despicable sheating at cleudo, shameful...my brother used to cheat at every game going, he's now absolutely loaded so there might be a message in there somewhere.

Nice one, China.
If I was to give a definitive answer then I would have to disagree. I cheated on one partner. It was a cop-out for not having the guts to call it a day. He didn't deserve that and I felt terrible about it, even though he never found out. I vowed never to do that to somebody (or myself) again, and so far I haven't.
But as China says, the reasons for doing something like that are so variable. I hope I never do again though.

I agree with Kyra too but unfortunately, I am probably not the best person to answer this question at present. I forgave my partner an affair six years ago - went on to marry him and have a second child, only to find out three weeks ago that he's been having an affair with another woman for the last four years. Needless to say, I am currently going through the divorce process. So yes, once a cheat, always a cheat!
So what about all those people out there who have cheated, but only the once? Yes, it makes them a cheat, but not a serial offender!
If the question is asking if a person whether a person who cheats just the once, or more frequently, makes them a cheat for life, then maybe it does. But that's not how I read the question. And I know I won't cheat again.

I think its different for men and women. A women will most likely cheat if she doesn't feel like she is being payed attention to. Men often cheat because they can and if they feel like they won't get caught they will cheat. I agree that once a cheater always a cheater when it comes to the male species.
