Can a man be to nice ?

I'm a guy who treats a lady like a lady complements them on how they look and might buy them flowers or small gifts every now and then..
I don't go daft or over bored..
Why I'm asking this because I'm for ever being told id be a great catch for some one single. And many females of all ages cant understand why I've not been snapped up..
So I'm trying to work out if I'm doing something wrong or just unlucky or going to the wrong places..

As I've said before i live in an area where affairs are happening at a daft rate.As tonight is Sunday night everybody whether married or with someone is single tonight every one is at it with everyone. Its like a free for all..

roy, i dont think you are doing anything wrong, every girl likes to be treated like a princess now and then, but if its all the time then when it comes to special occassions it will be the same like any other days. some girls like me do tend to go for the bad boys, only because they more dareing and livens up the relationship, i like confident guys who are not sensitive!! but, alot of my mates would go for you though! they love being spoilt. i like being spoilt too, but not if i dont deserve it, i dont want to b flooded with pressies just to make me happy, i would like that person to make me happy not treats! but thats me! like i said many of my mates would go for you :) dont give up.- i'l introduce u to one :)

Weeal..I think all areas are the same or are they ?
I go out a lot and as I'm single keep my eye open and the affairs i see are ridiculous.
Some are sleeping with mates wives or husbands they even take there wife in the same pub as well the following night.
Many do get caught but most don't as its there own business..

Red it would have to be something unique as most of the sites, and there are dozens of them, seem full of liars n cheats, folk who dont know what they want, folk who put up info and pics that are years old, are dating several folk at once, etc etc etc

Hi there Roy - Red's right when she said that not all women like the bad boys. The ones who do, usually have a job to hang onto them - if at all. It may be great if you're about 18, but most women want a pleasant guy with a sense of humour, and when it comes to settling down, thoughtfulness, kindness and loyalty are what's needed to maintain that relationship. The "players" are a challenge, and seen as being fun, but there's no fun in being with someone who's forever got his eye on the next conquest, or one who turns out to be abusive. Stay as you are, Roy. You don't need to keep buying presents either, but a surprise or treat once in a while won't go amiss.

Raggy, I'm happily with Mr MiniN for the last 6 yrs and he is definately the nicest bloke you could ever meet. he acts like a real gent just like you do Roy. so there is someone out there for you who will give you the love and respect that your treating your ladies with.

i agree with the above comments.

simply put, there will be loads of women out there looking for someone like you.

but answering your own question, yes there is such a thing as too nice.

a guy could be nice, kind hearted and has a lot of decent qualities, but just doesnt have enough spark or oomph there to wow one particular woman... so they label them as a nice guy ... hence the term "you're a nice guy, but ..."
its not your fault and isnt theirs either. but dont worry, there will be plenty of women out there who you would be perfect for.

this is what ive learned so far about women.
they're all interested in 3 things which are confidence, sense of humour and their individuality or something intriguing about them.

women (in my opinion) go for the "bad guy" due to the following.
1) bad guys have 2 or 3 of the 3 things above.
2) women hope they can convert him from a bad guy to nice guy to obtain their perfect man
3) low self esteem and dont deserve anyone nice.
