Hi. A " discussion"started between two friends of mine about homosexuality. One said that the gene is in there when you are born and comes out in later years. My other friend who is a retired psychiartry ( spelling) nurse argues that it is all in the mind and as was said earlier not in the genes. I tend to agree with my friend about it being your genes but would appreciate any answers

But he is actually quite 'pretty' Redman.

Complex subject really. I'll get back to my garden ;o)
I don't find him attractive at all....
lol JL are you playing windup?

so what if you like both men and woman how does that work on the genetics side of things?
Actually ummmm, I would rather have Daniel Craig - blow his personality or soh, just one look at him would be enough!!
I think the last Film I viewed with Johnny Depp was 'Public Enemies', excellent Film which I'm sure you would enjoy Lofty. To me he was not pretty but macho ! lol
He doesn't do it for me either :-(
Watched 'Defiance' with Daniel Craig in it the other night Lofty. You would like that ! :-)
i don;t get the jonny depp thing, he's a great actor but i can;t see the attraction
Will have to watch it ummmm! Am getting all hot and bothered now thinking of Daniel Craig.
By the time we get to the end of this thread I will have turned Bi-sexual ! Ha Ha
LOL

I very much doubt it Redman

Have a nice weekend x

I'm off.
I can see that someone is attractive but I would have no interest in a woman whatsoever romantically. sexually. not even curiously
There is no scientific evidence, so far, to identify a "gay gene" and personally I think that homosexuality is environmental or "nurtured"

I agree with redman, I could not have or even had the inclination to, have sex with a man and I am "uncomfortable" in their presence.

Oddly enough, I more readily accept female homosexuality and it actually may turn me on.
Agree with you Squad. The sight of a man's naked hairy clinker infested bum is a turn off. :-)
Would be a worthy ambition for you redman, I see it as a scope for personal development...
Joelike is at the other far end of the the spectrum, he is a lost cause in this lifetime...
Still here. You have just turned me off men Redman with that description. However, I have no intention of changing sides................... I
Sqad, the commonest phrase you get from men when they find out you ar a woman who likes women is something around I've always been turned on... or can I watch...

something I have always been puzzled by,, when i have read male books in the gay fiction section they seem a lot about finding 'the one, romance and tenderness' the girls books pretty hardcore in a lot of cases
Ha Ha rowan !
Having been in the Navy and mixing with Gay people both Male and Female has never been a problem. My personal Steward on one ship I was on was totally Gay and used to go ashore dressed up in evening Ladies wear. If I didn't know who he was I may have fallen in love with her ! lol
rowan ...didn't understand your last paragraph (my fault, not yours)

Are you saying that male homosexuality is more emotional than female homosexuality?
I have never been in a gay book shop..........or gay pub.............or anything gay :-)
Thats nice Redman. I don't trust men who say they don't like gays or won't mix with them. I think it's often because they have problems about their own sexuality!
