Pros and Cons of dating an older guy?

I'm planning on staying single for a while but I'm entertaining the thought of being with an older guy (no, not the ex's father) but just an older bloke in general. Any experiences of being with an older man? What are the pros and cons? Thanks

I think you need to define your age and what you mean by older (4,5,6 10 20 years?)

OK. The biggest disadvantage is what you would have in common - Musical tastes, current affairs etc. If the relationship did last you have to remember that when he's 50 you will only be around 35. It all depends on the maturity of the person in question also. There are some very immature 30 somethings and some who are old before their time.

Cons - he might need Viagra, wear false teeth, weak and nimble.

Pro - he might / could be a sugar daddy.

Of course all this could be the opposite, just a run-away imagination speaking here. :-)

The thing is, I did start to fall for the complete wrong man who was in his early 40s. We got on so well and liked the same music. I just feel like I'm not interested in guy's my own age and am always looking at/wondering what it'd be like to be with someone older. Don't think I'd be interested in dating anyone over 50 as that'd be quite wrong.

i've gone out with older and younger guys, i;d guess older guys are a bit more mature and but can be stuck in their ways and if they're bad in bed then you got no chance

I always went out with older blokes but as I've got older the age gap got smaller and now I have settled with a bloke a year younger than me.
