Like a girl. She doesn't like me back. Can't get over her. What to do?

There is a girl I like alot. I'm in 9th grade. I've only had about 2 relationships in my life. I've told her how much I like her and she was okay with it but she also said that she doesn't feel the same way about me. She likes a guy in 12th grade. I don't have really good looks. I don't really have any athletic abilities. I am not all too impressive. The only thing I have is my personality. I want to get over her but i've tried before and I can't. I've liked her for 4 years. She is the only person in the world that makes me happy. Also, not like I can move on anyways as no other girls in my school likes me either. :( Kinda stuck. I have no idea what to do now. I had hopes and dreams but all were crushed when she told me she didn't feel the same way. I now have severe depression. I can barely get around any more. My self-confidence is gone. I am falling into a hole i'm afraid i can never get out of. She is the only girl i've ever felt this way about. I need somebody to tell me how to deal with this sort of situation.

Also, Ldjksa I am actually going to try that. The logic in it seems sound to me. If she doesn't have any reaction then I have to move on. That is the only other option.

Codemister....personality is everthing. Do you want to spend your life with someone who is only concerned with looks...takes yonks to get ready...has no opinions on anything?
Get with someone you can talk to...laugh with...a meeting of minds is much better in the long run.

All of you guys act as if I am going to meet a new girl every day. The girls I know now I have know for years. I live in the country/rural area. Nothing around. Tiny School. I meet about one new person every year. My "reputation" precedes me and therefore anyone new who meets me get an automatic bad first impression. Maybe if I lived in New York City this could be more possible for me to meet new people but I don't.

Again. I live in the middle of nowhere. There are no clubs.

I know almost every single person in my school. Again, small school. Like 700 kids at the most. Not going to meet anybody at after school activities. They will be all people I already know.

Say half of which are girls = 348½
of which you say ¼ are virgins = 87
I would start saving for a bus ride out of there and broadcast your reputation ☺

It is no secret. My reputations is that people say I'm gay. Which I am obviously not. Someones first impression of me what they always ask first is "Are you gay?" Which in America is a very very very bad bad bad thing. and hahahaha ttfn i would but there are no buses except school buses to take us to and from school XD

I'm in good ole Pennsylvania. In Amish Country. I'm not Amish myself. It's just that there is hardly anything around here. Nearest Fast food place is 20 miles away. I live in a town with 100 people and is one square mile. We have a small town mentality. We even call people that aren't born here "FLATLANDERS" lol. And why people think i'm gay when they first meet me? I have abosolutly not idea. San Francisco is in California. Opposite sides of the country buddy. Different mentalities. Differnet peoples.
